Art of Change

November 7th, 2011

Romero Britto is a prolific pop artist who has exhibited all over the globe including London’s Hyde Park, Berlin’s O2 Dome and Paris’s Carrousel du Louvre. His art work has been partnered with Bently, Disney, FIFA and many other companies.

Britto believes in the power of art to enable change and is, therefore, deeply philanthropic. He is a supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Best Buddies International and is a Same Sky Ambassador. Most recently Britto was honored at the Angel Ball and hosted an art show to benefit Joshua and Robin Berry’s Children’s trust.

Same Sky is thrilled to be partnering with Romero Britto, again. Event details and formal invite to come!

I discovered SAME SKY by accident and have ordered probably 30 bracelets in the past 3 weeks. Every friend I have given one to has been almost in tears when I tell them about this cause. Congratulations on helping so many deserving women and doing it in such an elegant and stylish way. As one well traveled friend put it "I always want to buy things like this to help women in other countries, but the stuff is usually so ugly that it makes it hard to get excited about supporting them." These bracelets are so beautiful and I thank you for making my Christmas shopping so easy! Good luck with SAME SKY!

I'm thrilled to see you circulating news about SAME SKY to all of your friends. These women have been dealt one of the toughest fates a person can deal with and they deal with it with such courage and dignity. They certainly deserve our support!

If you haven't checked out this site, the women that hand craft the jewelry or the 'cause' behind it you should. The jewelry is beautiful!!!

Run, don't walk! The jewelry is exquisite and makes you feel great knowing that you're helping women help themselves. And if they can do it, given their tragic circumstances, then we have NO excuse

These Rwanadan women who have survived AIDS and the genocide, are making the most beautiful glass bead bracelets and they get the proceeds, for the firat time in their lives thaty have food and shelter and the necessities of life. We all NEED to order a bracelet, NO, they are not cheap but consider it charity! You will feel good about it and have a beautiful bracelet to show for it.
