ANASTASIE

Anastasie is 26 years old, suffers from polio and is an orphan. When her parents passed away she was denied by her siblings and was left homeless. Like many physically disabled in Rwanda, she was forced to beg on the streets for money. “Since working at Same Sky I do not have to beg anymore, I have a home to come to, and every morning when there is work to do.”

UPDATE 1/30/12: “I have achieved a lot of things since working for Same Sky. I can now pay for my house and have also bought myself a sitting room set. Now I can buy clothes and think I will be able to achieve much more with more work.”
