ASANTE JAQUELINE
“Thank you very much for buying the bracelet so that you can empower me and improve my life,” is Jaqueline’s message, “When you wear it, I hope you feel beautiful.” Since working for SAME SKY, Jaqueline has grown tremendously. Not only is she providing for her family but also she is investing in their future. She became an entrepreneur, opening her own business selling home goods as well as financed a potato business with her daughter. Her income has allowed her to clothe, feed, and shelter her three children as well as six other children who have been victims of the genocide. Jaqueline is an inspiration to her children and other women of Same Sky.
UPDATE 10/12/11: Asante Jaqueline suffered from persistent leg pain, but through affording proper nutrition and medical treatment we are proud to say she is doing much better!
UPDATE 1/30/12: My white blood cells have increased and I have also gained some weight. I also bought some land. We thank you for keeping us close to our heart. As work continues we are going to be able to achieve our goals.
