SAME SKY ARTISAN: SADA

Sada is a young Rwandan woman whose life has grown tremendously as a SAME SKY artisan. Sada has been crafting fine handmade jewelry for SAME SKY since 2008.

Before working at SAME SKY, Sada walked 10km everyday looking for work and living at her mother’s home. Since working as a SAME SKY employee, she has moved into her own house and is able to buy clothing and food for herself and her family. Sada pays tuition for her brother and son to attend school so that they can experience the power of education, and also find success in their future endeavors.

Recently Sada bought a much-needed mattress and a goat. Her current project is building a new house for her mother, “I have a goal… I want to accomplish this goal.”

Working has helped Sada’s health improve tremendously. Sada believes that with more work comes better health, and that her white blood cells shall increase even more.
