SADA

Before working at  SAME SKY, Sada walked 10km everyday looking for work and lived out of her mother’s home. Since working as a SAME SKY employee, she has moved into her own house and is able to buy clothing and food for herself and her family. Sada pays tuition for her brother and child to attend school so that they may also gain success in their future endeavors.

UPDATE: Recently Sada bought a much-needed mattress and a goat. Her current project is building a new house for her mother, “I have a goal… I want to accomplish this goal.” Sada is “so grateful for SAME SKY” who has enabled her to make her dreams possible.

UPDATE 1/30/12: “Working has helped me buy some livestock. As for my sickness, my white blood cells have increased. Although I have also been sick with “Zona” (shingles). Now I am healed. At work everything is going well. If we continue to get orders consistently, my white blood cells shall increase even more and I’ll even be able to buy a house. Greet the clients on my behalf . Tell them we love them very much. Give them a warm hug from me.”

“I had nothing but now I am woman, I am a mother and I am some one. Same sky has restored my dignity as a woman, it has restored my dignity in my community and I hope that all of us Same Sky women in Rwanda continue to be an inspiration. Thank you." BRIGETTE

“I thank you for restoring my dignity and pride as a mother with five children going to school and empowering me through Same Sky. We pray for you everyday that you continue to buy and God will bless you so that I can continue to make the bracelet.” JACQUELINE
