Umuganda means “coming together in common purpose to achieve an outcome.”
Umuganda is a Rwandan tradition that has been a crucial program for reconciliation and rebuilding the country where community members come together to clean up their local communities.
Same Sky is proud to lead global Umuganda, an opportunity for communities all over the globe to come together and do an act of service or kindness. We will be organizing clean-up projects throughout the country.
Other ways to participate—Saturday, March 28th
ORGANIZE a community clean-up (contact your local park for volunteer opportunities)
ENCOURAGE your friends to do an act of kindness (volunteer at a soup kitchen, donate your old clothes)
