Sada

Sada is a young Rwandan woman, living with HIV, whose life has grown tremendously as a Same Sky artisan since she began in 2008.

Before working at Same Sky, Sada lived in her mother’s home and walked 10km every day looking for work. Since working as a Same Sky employee, she has moved into her own house and is able to provide clothing and food for herself and her family. Sada pays tuition for her brother and daughter to attend school so that they can experience the power of education and have the tools they need to build successful futures.

Sada recently purchased both a much-needed mattress and a goat, and is currently embarking on a new project: to build a new house for her mother. Working has helped Sada’s health improve tremendously. Sada believes that with more work comes better health, and that her white blood cells shall increase even more.
