Friend of Same Sky: Joyce F. Brown

Same Sky Founder Francine LeFrak recently met with the Fashion Institute of Technology President Dr. Joyce F. Brown last week to talk about women's role in the workplace, ethical shopping, and how the partnership between Same Sky and FIT has the potential to help women all over the world. When Francine met with Dr. Joyce F. Brown she expressed her love for Same Sky's new Honeycomb Glass Bead Bracelet. 

President Brown, who has been practicing public higher education for about 30 years, was appointed her position in 1998, becoming the 6^th president of the University as well as the first woman and African-American president in their history. Same Sky is so proud to work alongside Dr. Joyce F. Brown, and we hope that our partnership is yet another avenue to empower women and give them the skills to succeed in the business environment. With the help of Dr. Brown and her staff at FIT, who have superior knowledge of the business side of the industry, this partnership looks to create a model for women to prosper.
